The Heart of Mesa Worship Ministry focus’s on five core areas for those serving in the ministry: 


  Calling,
     Commitment
         Chemistry
             Character
                 Competence
Text Box: C a l l i n g Members of the worship ministry demonstrate evidence of their calling to the worship ministry and not just a specific role within the worship ministry. The are also asked to seek confirmation of their calling from others serving in the worship ministry. Text Box: C o m m i t m e n t Members of the worship ministry demonstrate a commitment to the worship ministry and not a part time participation. Everyone is encouraged to dedicate themselves to serving the body through a commitment to using their particular giftedness and needs within the ministry. Text Box: C h e m i s t r y Members of the worship ministry must seek harmony and fellowship with fellow members of the worship ministry. Occasional issues of strife and disagreement are encouraged to be resolved immediately in a biblical Christ-like manner. Text Box: C h a r a c t e r Members of the worship ministry demonstrate evidence of their character on a daily basis and not just when they are serving. Character is how you behave when no one else is watching and worship is a lifestyle not just a service role for scheduled church services. Text Box: C o m p e t e n c e Members of the worship ministry demonstrate competence in their roles of service. Each member is encouraged to play skillfully and to continually strive to hone their art and skills. Music is a language and you must always be increasing your vocabulary.
