Many of our ministry leaders and coordinators are volunteers with a heart and a love for the areas in which they serve. We are fortunate to have so many dedicated people to serve to help meet the needs of our church and our community.

| We are an active and vibrant ministry here at Heart of Mesa. If you are looking to just lay back, relax, and do nothing, then you got the wrong ministry. We have numerous activities planned each month and we are actively involved in the community and serving in our church. |

| The worship ministry strives to provide a distraction free environment for our worship services to give worshippers the opportunity to worship. We employ a full praise band with a mix of modern, contemporary, and traditional formats for worship. |

Reach Groups are opportunities for all people to investigate the Bible in a small community. These groups meet in different homes throughout the east valley. They are environments that are facilitated not taught. The community is a place you can feel comfortable to connect with other people.

| Children are our future. It is through children that we inherit the future and destiny God has for our church. Our children's ministry is dedicated to the spiritual and social development of grades 1-6. We believe that learning about God is fun and that we need to provide as many opportunities as possible for our children. |

| Upward Basketball is a program that the Heart of Mesa started using three years ago. Our goal, as a church, was to minister to the children of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, where God has called us to be a light for Him. |
