From the heart of the Pastor

Our Mission Statement for the Heart of Mesa is: To be a church with a heart for God, for people and for His Word."

I want for the Heart of Mesa what Jesus wants for us. In John 17, we discover what Jesus wants for His church as He pours His heart out in prayer to His Father. He wants His church to be characterized by six things:

  1. Joy-He wants a joyous church. v.13
  2. Holiness-He wants a holy church. verses 14-16
  3. Truth-He wants a truth-rooted church. v.17
  4. Mission-He wants a missionary church. v.18
  5. Unity-He wants a unified church. verses 21-23
  6. Love-He wants a loving church. v.26

Come join us as we seek by the power of the Holy Spirit to bring to reality our Lord's desire for the church.

"Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever, Amen."
